October 16, 2025 Craft Project: Making a Succulent Wreath

On October 16, the Garden Club met at the Chalet to attach succulents to a sphagnum moss wreath or ball.  It was a little messy, but what gardener doesn’t like to have their fingers in dirt?  Betty soaked the forms for each of us.  We poked and assembled beautiful wreaths and balls.  Betty was a great instructor showing us exactly how to put the succulents in place.  The results were truly beautiful.  Research suggests these can last up to 10 years.
